LASER TREATMENTS
3 In-Demand Anti-Ageing Technologies in One Device
Dr Eve skin uses the 3Juve by Lynton - the only provider used by the NHS.
The 3Juve provides a 3-step facial treatment, which fights against these 3 key signs of ageing using a specialised combination of the 3 most in-demand skin rejuvenation technologies: ResurFACE Fractional Laser, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Radiofrequency (RF).

RESURFACE
ResurFace – Fractional Erbium YAG Laser
The Lynton Fractional 2940nm resurFACE Laser handpiece targets minute sections of the skin with laser light, which creates microscopic holes in the top-most layers of the skin. Immediate collagen shrinkage makes the skin appear tighter, and long-term stimulation of fibroblasts produces new collagen over the following months.
The surrounding, non-affected areas of skin facilitate faster healing; aiding the body’s natural recovery process, giving dramatic results without the significant downtime associated with traditional ablative laser procedures.
Fractional skin rejuvenation is not a substitute for surgery or fully ablative laser treatments. It is however appropriate for people with sun-damaged or congested skin or those with dyschromia or mild scarring. It can reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and improve elasticity and promote a more even skin tone.
REBRIGHT
ReBRIGHT – 650 Intense Pulse Laser
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is flashlamp-driven technology. An intensely bright light is achieved by passing an electric current through a flashlamp. A mirror behind the flashlamp redirects the light directly onto the skin to create a photothermal effect in the tissue.

Unlike a Laser, IPL devices submit light in all directions and include a whole range of different wavelengths. Different wavelengths are used to treat different conditions. Filters can be used to tweak which wavelengths we want to let through to use on the skin, and which wavelengths we want to remove. This is a key reason why IPL can be very versatile.
Most IPLs use wavelengths between approximately 550-1100nm. Longer wavelengths are used for hair removal, vessels, and most skin rejuvenation treatments.
REMODEL
Bipolar & Multipolar Radio Frequency
Radiofrequency (RF) targets the water molecules in the skin, and generates micro-vibrations in the tissue, resulting in advanced dermal heating. This heating stimulates new collagen and elastin growth resulting in stronger, firmer dermal tissue which leads to subtle skin lifting and tightening, for more youthful-looking skin.

The main reason for using RF for skin rejuvenation is that it can be used to deliver heat energy to tissues non-specifically, unlike lasers, which depend on chromophores.
